About Search Engine Optimization Consulting™

I've been building Web sites for clients since 1999. In 2003 I started building sites for my own companies and partnerships. This is when I started to investigate Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing.

In mid 2005 another partnership was formed, I built the site and put all my SEO knowledge to use. As of Jan. 6, 2007 Scivago.com was “naturally” ranked in the top 10 on all the major search engines and directories - Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask. The keywords/phrases that I researched and applied to Scivago.com were “vintage fur coats” and “vintage coats.”

I've always been interested in marketing and branding. I rely on Google's Webmaster Guidelines, Google's definition of good SEO and Search Engine Watch, among other resources, for my continued SEO education.
